The best way to learn any concept, especially in Data Tech, is by sharing about it. That not only helps you understand what you learned in more detail, but sharing it with the community helps others understand how a particular Data Tech idea works.

Analytics Vidhya has always been at the forefront of knowledge sharing, and we want to continue this trend among our community members/thought leaders/ industry experts.  

We are delighted to announce the launch of Analytics Vidhya’s Data Science Blogathon 20^th Edition. We have published approximately 4000 articles written by 700+ authors on various topics in Data Science such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Engineering, etc. And, we are aiming to make it bigger.

We will not only publish the best articles on Analytics Vidhya’s blog, but also provide feedback to every writer on their article. Along with recognition in front of a global audience, there are lucrative prizes to be won also! Are you ready to join our 'Data Science Community'?

In this edition, we are coming up with an Author Referral Program. This will help our existing authors to invite their peers/friends/leaders/gurus/ to share their knowledge with the community as well.

How do I Participate?

To enter the competition, just press the register button above. Once the competition starts on May 8^th, please head over to https://editor.analyticsvidhya.com/ and start writing. It's that simple!

Note that it takes us up to 36-48 hours to review and provide feedback for each article. And once you see ‘Shortlisted’ on the Editor, give it up to 24 hours for the article to reflect on the Analytics Vidhya blog.

A New Submission Category - Guides!

As mentioned above, we continue to publish "Guides". Guides are intended to be a one-stop resource on specific topics in Data Engineering, Machine Learning and related topics. Since we receive multiple entries for Guides, only one Guide per topic will be published.

Here is an example of a Guide: K Means Clustering | K Means Clustering Algorithm in Python

Feel free to explore any topic of your choice though - the only restriction is that it should be as comprehensive as possible and should be of a minimum of 2500 words in length. It should also be on a topic in the domain of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Engineering, etc.

* Note that the final consideration of guide is an editorial decision which is based on how unique your guide's topic is and how comprehensively have you explained all components of that topic.

* Note that the article will have to be technical and code-based in nature to be eligible for the above special categories. Listicles or career articles will not count.

* All International payments will be made via Paypal

* For India-based authors, Pan Card and other bank details are imperative

• Refer a friend and if the referee publishes 1 article then both referrer and referee will receive INR 300 each.
• Refer a friend and if the referee publishes 3 or more articles then both referrer and referee will receive INR 1300 each.

How?

• The referral code is shared with existing authors over the mail

What are the Important Dates & Deadlines?

Note: We update the leaderboard twice a day. There is no set time for the update per se. But check back in the afternoon and late evening to see the latest views.

Terms and conditions

• The content of your article(s) should be unique and not be published anywhere else. Each article will be strictly checked for plagiarism.
• You are free to make as many submissions as you want. But, don’t make multiple submissions of the same article.
• To avail the referral program, your refree must get his/her article published on Analytics Vidhya blog.
• The source of the image cannot be from Google.
• All the image sources should be cited at the end of the submission.
• The submissions will close on June 5th 2022, 23:59 IST (GMT +5:30 hrs)
• We will provide an extra week to work on any feedback we give, provided the article has been submitted before the deadline.
• You are not allowed to re-publish any of your articles elsewhere until and unless discussed with Analytics Vidhya.
• We monitor the traffic on each article regularly. Analytics Vidhya holds the right to remove any and all suspicious traffic.
• Analytics Vidhya owns the right to disqualify/reject any submission without any explanation.
