Cloud Dataflow is a Google Cloud product that uses Apache Beam for unified batch or streaming data pipelines using Python or Java. Dataflow has many applicable use cases and many helpful features.
In this DataHour, Yash will give you a brief introduction to Apache Beam and the basics of the Apache Beam framework. He will also explain how useful and easy it is to develop unified data pipelines using Apache Beam and scale it on Google Cloud.
He will be discussing the basic batch pipeline and will perform some hands-on around the same which will enable you to start exploring more and understand the product in depth and details.
Prerequisites: Basic understanding of Data Pipelines/warehousing/ETL and Python and interest in Data Science.
