In this DataHour, Varun will be looping the audience through the concepts of Web3.0. He will be covering the following topics in details:

• The start, the technology and the current state of Web3
• Use cases including - tech behind NFTs, proof of work, proof of stake and highlight of basic tokenomics and how crypto tokens/currencies work
• Future scope of Web3 
• Introduction to Metaverses
• How a functional world is being projected to be operated on top of Web3 tech (totally decentralized and yet multi-channel).

Prerequisites:

Interest in learning the emerging and trending technologies of NFT, Web3.0 etc.

Varun Sharma, Co-founder and Chief Metaverse Officer at Metaphy Labs Pvt Ltd

Varun is a 24-year-old entrepreneur and philanthropist with the vision of Changing the world by revolutionizing technology and spreading kindness along the way. He was recognized at Humanitarian Awards 2021 at GMHA, in association with Mental Health Change, UK, and United Nations for his contribution towards humanity and philanthropic efforts.

An AI Evangelist, fuelled by his love for Tech, Varun holds a Computer Science degree from the Amity School of Engineering (Class of 2019). Post that, Business and Finance being his utmost passion, Varun ventured into the world of startups starting with a Techno-Fitness brand. 

Currently exploring Web3, Varun is keenly interested in the whole ecosystem of NFT’s and cryptocurrencies. He firmly believes that metaverse is indeed the future and is these days scoping out the infinite possibilities it has to offer. He is also involved in multiple Web3 related projects backed by big names like Ozzy Osbourne, Garyvee, and Colin Tilley.

Currently, he is a co-founder and Chief Metaverse Officer at Metaphy Labs Pvt Ltd(Acquired by JetSynthesys) and an investor and Non-Executive Director at Memboro. An avid investor by choice, he is also actively exploring and participating in the field of Angel Investing to promote and democratize startup culture.
