Steve Jobs said “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower”, analytics is now being touted as a potential driver for innovation in business. Information systems has evolved into sophisticated enterprise level data warehousing systems from serving the sole purpose of capturing transactional data. Today with the advent of novel analytics tools, another evolution in analytics has already begun.

Solaris provides an opportunity for the students to stay in tune with this evolution through the Analytics Workshop. It will be a session conducted by industry expert/s regarding the application of Analytics in the real world and/or the efficient utilization of analytical tools for various purposes in the industry.
