Sachin Kelkar is the Head for Scale Software Program for Asia Pacific region for the Intel Core and Visual Computing Group – Developer Relations Division. In this role , he focuses on developing the software solutions market across Asia Pacific by working with key software companies and software developers. Sachin drives the developer evangelism in the areas of AI (artificial intelligence ) , IoT and Game Development . Sachin drives business relationships and developer engagements with Independent Software Vendors ( ISVs) , System Integrators and software developers in the region across consumer and enterprise segments.
Sachin has worked with Intel for 15 years in the areas of developer engagement, software marketing and solutions engineering. He has worked on key projects of local language enabling , mobile application development , IoT and partner marketing. Prior to Intel, Sachin has worked in Microsoft and Citrix and has an experience of @ 20+years in the software and telecom industry. Sachin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University in 1992 , followed by a Masters’ degree in Management from Mumbai University.

Nishant is heading Data Center(Deep learning/Machine learning, Cloud service providers, Big Data/In-Memory Computing, Enterprise software, NFV/SDN) and High performance computing (HPC) software application engineering technical team for APJ region. Handling complex programs involving cross-functional teams based in multiple geographic locations.
He holds an B.Tech degree in Computer science from Raipur University and completed Executive Programme in Business Analytics from ISB Hyderabad. He has been granted 10 patents in multiple geographies. Published multiple research & white papers, conducted workshops, invited talks at tier 1 international conferences.
Last year Nishant has been selected in Top 10 scientists list of participants from India for BRICS Young Scientists Conclave 2016. He has represented India from Computational Intelligence area.

He is passionate about solving business problems through data science. He believes every number has a story to tell. Being a data scientist it’s his job and passion to decode that story.

Abhishek Potnis is a Ph.D. student in the GeoComputational Systems Lab at CSRE, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The broad areas of his research include Geospatial Semantics, Deep Learning, Data Visualization and High Performance Computing. His research primarily focuses on improving the Semantic Understanding of Satellite Imagery during a Flood Scenario in context to the Disaster Assessment and Management activities.
He has been a two-time Google Summer of Code student in the past for the organizations - Cesium in 2015, where he worked on processing and visualizing 3-Dimensional LiDAR data from the CALIPSO satellite; and Liquid Galaxy in 2016, where he worked on enabling Cesium - a geospatial 3D mapping and virtual globe platform, for a panoramic experience on the Liquid Galaxy hardware. Abhishek is an open source enthusiast and has been a core code contributor to his favorite web browser Mozilla Firefox. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai in 2013 before joining IIT Bombay for his M.Tech. in Geoinformatics. When not at his terminal or engrossed in a sci-fi thriller novel, he enjoys travelling places, capturing and captioning the world through his camera.
