Brief Description of position:
  1. PURPOSE OF ROLE 

Please summarise the overall purpose of the role. 

  • Conceptualize the analytical solution for the business problem by implementing statistical  models and programming techniques 
  • To make sure any roadblocks in implementation is brought to the notice of Sr Data Scientist or  Analytics Manager so that project timelines do not get affected
  • Build end to end AI products utilizing Azure Dev Ops 
  • Document every aspect of the project in standard way, for future purposes - Storyboarding and presenting the insights to senior leadership

  • Understand the business problem and constraints to work with Sr. Data Scientist and translate that to an analytical problem; participate in the solutioning process 
  • End to end development of machine learning or deep learning models as a product 
  • Drive business actions by translating complex analysis over large datasets into insights 
  • Communicate the insights using business-friendly presentations
  • Document every aspect of the project in standard ways 

 

  1. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Challenges 

  • Work with internal clients at ABI to understand their business problems, translate those  problems into statistical problems like survey design, experiment design, optimization,  forecasting, etc which can best address those business problems, work with statistical  experts to develop robust models and generate business insights 
  • Use complex statistical modelling to provide answers to key BU questions around  pricing and promotions, assortment, forecasts, etc  
  • Summarize insights and recommendations to be presented back to the business - Use innovative methods to continuously improve the quality of statistical models

  1. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Please list the following requirements  

Level of educational attainment required:  

  • B Tech in any branch, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics,  Operations Research or any other quantitative analysis 

Previous work experience required 

  • 3-6 years in data science role, preferably in CPG domain 
  • ETL and Exploratory data analysis
  • Experience working with large amounts of real data with SQL (Teradata, Oracle, or  MySQL) and R, or other statistical package
  • Well versed with Machine learning and Deep learning algorithms implementation
  • Exposure to working with complex datasets, machine learning and DL libraries like  pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch etc 
  • Capable of building insightful visualizations in Python, R
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Google Cloud, AWS will be preferred

•Language skills required 

  • English (Fluent) 

IT skills required 

  • Statistical languages (Python, R) (mandatory) 
  • Advanced Excel
  • SQL (atleast one database)

Team successfully developed Optimizers , Voice To Text Sentiment  Conversion Platforms & OCR/NLP Platforms using Deep Learning Techniques last year .We are now  looking to onboard best in Class ML & AI Experts to fullfill the 2020 dream of supporting all Global  Zones. 

Education:
