Brief Description of position:

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will be intricately involved in running analytical experiments in a methodical manner and will regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches. The candidate will also have to collaborate with internal team and clients, to ensure that their approach meets the need of each project. He/she should be able to deliver results according to project schedules while maintaining quality standards. The candidate will also be responsible to contribute towards organizational initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Substantial hands-on experience with data handling.
2. Capable of managing large volumes of data, extract, clean and comprehend
3. Able to analyze data independently and draw out salient insights. Able to define workflow for oneself and associates on a daily or periodic basis, contingent on the requirements of the project
4. Able to contribute meaningfully to brainstorming discussions around nuances of the project
5. Comfortable with statistical procedures, such as basic distributions, regressions, logistic models
6. Experience with advanced statistics and Machine Learning algorithms is a plus
7. Developing comprehensible analytical solutions to solve business problems using domain knowledge or statistical procedures depending on the requirements of the project
8. Comfortable in representing the proceedings and/or findings in a power-point
9. Comfortable in mentoring junior resources, and creating an environment of learning in the team
10. Helping the company with Business Development initiatives such as sales collaterals, PoCs, Case Studies
11. Develop and define an area of expertise and take relevant trainings on the same for the organization
12. Contribute to org level activities, such as taking interviews
13. Work with team to estimate work effort
14. Understand the work methodology and be an active participant in strengthening the team
15. Liaising with coworkers and clients on several projects
16. Commitment to learning and continuous personal improvement
17. The candidate should be able to work under tight timelines with minimal supervision
18. Capability to comprehend, research as needed and execute solutions identified by client or Project Consultant or Project Manager

Skill Requirements:

Mandatory/Required Skills

• SQL, MSFT PowerPoint and Excel
• Statistical Packages – Mandatory knowledge in R and/or Python
• Statistical Modeling and/or Machine Learning, Deep Learning

Good to have/Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Big Data Environments such as Hadoop and Hive
• Statistical Packages – Knowledge in Scala would be beneficial
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Data Modelling Environments & elements like AWS Sagemaker, S3 bucketsAzure Data Bricks, MLOPS etc.
• Any credentials from IITs and NITs would be beneficial

Qualifications & Experience:

The candidate must have 18 months to 4 years of experience in a computer vision role and should have attained bachelor’s degree in computer vision engineer or related field (BTech/BE or MSc or MBA or MTech in Stats, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or any other quantitative discipline). Relevant analytics experience in Retail, ECommerce, Telecom, BFSI or any other domain will be beneficial.
