JOB DESCRIPTION : TEAM MEMBER ANALYTICS

• JOB PURPOSE

For our Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE), we are seeking experienced and accomplished professionals with significant experience in business and risk analytics, and sound understanding of Financial Services.

As a Senior team member, you will support L&T Finance in its goal of achieving growth by integrating analytics into end-to-end business solutions. By translating data-driven results into business-focused deliverables for decision makers, you would be a part of LTFS’s journey as a high-performing Indian NBFC.

• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. You are expected to collaborate with data scientists, subject matter experts, business team to deliver strategic analytics projects from design to execution.
2. Independently handle project work streams with minimum supervision.
3. Work with data science Leads to identify opportunities for Analytics in aiding decisions across businesses. Look at providing solutions going beyond traditional means.
4. Strong technical knowledge and domain experience to deliver conceptually solid solutions
5. Guide junior analytics staff in their journey of developing into successful and effective analytics professionals.
6. Create impactful presentations for stakeholder consumption summarizing analytical findings
7. Strong collaboration with business team to continuously identifying opportunities and solving with data.

• SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Desired Skills and Experience

1. 5+ years of relevant Analytics experience at one or more Financial Services firms (Universal bank/ NBFC/ Insurance), Rating Agency, E-commerce, Retail or Consulting with exposure to one or more of the following areas:
   
   • Customer Analytics
   • Retail Analytics
   • Collections and Recovery Analytics
   • Credit Risk Ratings
   • Business Analytics
     
     
2. Proficiency in statistical and other tools/languages - R, SAS, Python
3. Familiarity with relational databases and intermediate level knowledge of SQL; Experience working with large data sets and tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
4. Ability to synthesize unstructured data and find actionable themes/insights using R/Python/SAS.
5. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to connect business requirements to data-mining objectives and business benefit. Demonstrated ability in gathering requirements, designs, plans and estimates
6. Aptitude to learn and ability to think creatively to solve real world business problems
7. Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
