Data Science – Manager

Location: Bangalore & Gurgaon, India

Description: 

We are looking to hire Data Science Leads for our Big Data and Analytics Services. The candidates should have strong capabilities in data sciences along with a proven expertise in team management. Candidates should also be proficient in project and senior stakeholder management.

Along with the required technical expertise, we have a strong bias for candidates with sound appreciation and acumen for business processes. Successful candidates should have strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities, personal impact and client handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently Lead & manage execution of data science projects 
• Solve problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations from data and analysis
• Design optimal analytical solutions for a given business problem
• Troubleshoot and quality check work done by team members
• Work hands-on for execution of analytics projects
• Translate analytical output to business insights and compelling presentations
• Communicate and interact with clients at the executive level
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Required Experience

• 6+ years of professional work experience in advanced analytics domain
• Experience in leading teams and managing analytics projects
• Expertise in R, SQL and Python required. Good to have exposure to Spark and other Big Data Technologies
• Exposure to analytics for business functions such as operations, supply chain, pricing, marketing, CRM is a plus
• Familiarity with consulting firms preferred
• Good written and oral communication skills in English language
