Brief Description of position:

MIS Analyst:

As a MIS analyst, you will work as part of our Credit and Analytics Team with key stakeholders to leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies and provide key data-driven insights.

MIS Analyst, ANALYTICS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems
• Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
• Automate the reports that are required regularly by collating data across multiple sources
• Perform data analysis for generated reports on periodic basis

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics or related technical field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in consulting, analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position
• Experience communicating quantitative analysis results
• Knowledge with relational databases and SQL is must
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
• Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming language like Python
• Experience working with distributed computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
• Experience working with large data sets
• Experience manipulating and analysing high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
• Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
