Brief Description of position:

Position Title: Analytics – Senior Consultant/ Consultant

Position Description: Candidate will be responsible in building and maintaining Predictive models using various ML algorithms like GBM, GLM. This will include working with external data, testing the importance of factor, explain the ML models to stakeholders etc. Work can be from Risk Premium calculation, Fraud Prediction, Retention Conversion modeling etc.

Experience required: 3-8 Years

Analytics Capability:

• General Insurance knowledge, worked with underwriting or claims departments
• Expert in building predictive models for General Insurance Domain. Like predictive modelling for Risk Premium, Risk Selection, Fraud Detection, Retention or conversion models etc.
• Ability to write efficient code for Machine Learning.
• Ability to handle and process large data using SAS, Python or R.
• Good understanding of insurance terms and terminology.
• Understand the key aspects of good data governance i.e. Data Models & Data Dictionary.
• Expert in Data Preparation, Data Summary, Data Visualization
• Expert in R or Python and SAS or SQL
• Worked in multiple platforms like VBA, R, Python, Qlik, Tableau etc.

Project Management:

• Project delivery (including preparation and review of project output)
• Process improvements
• Participate in project relevant trainings. Guiding and training junior team members
• Preparing and delivering client presentations
• Participate in client interaction and stakeholder management
• Building networks with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication
• Drive internal and external teams to implement Analytics in new areas
