Job Description

  • Follow Tesco's Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence
  • Accountable for engaging with markets to understand their key outcomes identifying and executing data analysis based projects that will result in disproportionate returns
  • Drive value realization through delivery of high impact projects and efficiency gain by automating repeatable tasks
  • Track and measure return on investment for Analytical Investments
  • Accountable for achieving teams objectives stakeholder management and escalation management
  • Institutionalize robust ways of working through reusable frameworks code and knowledge management
  • Experience in handling projects on production ready visualization solutions and automation of reports
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design execute and measure data analysis oriented solutions
  • Develop and lead a high performing team creating an environment for success by setting direction and coaching them to succeed through inspiring conversations every day.
  • Initiates and designs continuous improvements initiatives to drive performance within their teams
  • Examine interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership and other relevant teams
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
  • Diagnose and recommends solutions to operational challenges using specialist knowledge & operational expertise


  • Adv Excel, Adv SQL, Hive, Python, Expert Skills to develop visualizations, self-service dashboards and reports in Tableau, theoretical knowledge on Statistical Concepts (Corr.Analysis, Hyp. Testing, Regression concepts) preferred, DW concepts (Hadoop), Automation skills in using alteryx/ python
  • Stakeholder management, Operations delivery, Analysis & Judgment, Problem Solving 7-10 yrs of experience in Leading analytics engagements in any one of domains like retail, cpg, telecom or hospitality and for one of the following functional areas - marketing, supply chain, customer, merchandising, operations, finance or digital
  • Experience in managing high volume, time pressured business asks and ad-hocs requests
